Quiche with ham

Ingredients

for 4 persons
  • 1 box of Marie Thumas Coolie Power
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 120 g Breydel ham cubes
  • 3 eggs
  • 20 cl cream
  • 50 g Gruyère cheese
  • Salt, pepper and nutmeg

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F).
  2. Line a tart pan with the puff pastry, including the paper it came with, and cover it with another sheet of baking paper. Fill with baking beans or rice and blind bake the crust for 15 minutes at 160°C. Remove the crust from the oven, discard the baking beans and paper, and let it cool.
  3. Meanwhile, mix the eggs with the cream and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  4. Cut the Breydel ham into pieces and sauté them in a non-stick pan. Add the Coolie Power mix and cook for 3 to 4 minutes over medium heat. Pour the mixture into the crust, then add the egg mixture. Ensure everything is evenly distrubuted and top with grated cheese.
  5. Serve the quiche with a salad.
